In just a few days we are going to be bringing you a great Giveaway Hop called Keeping Cool in the Sun! Our awesome sponsor for this event is:

Beachfront Baby is a mom owned and run company that makes wrap style baby carriers in a water safe fabric so that we can still have the benefits of babywearing while enjoying our favorite aquatic activities! Diane is a mom of 4 who lives in Texas where keeping cool in the summer can be a full time job!

Beachfront Baby Water Wrap Carriers are 100% polyester jersey and come in 10 vibrant colors and 3 different sizes:

  • One Size is 15 ft in length and 19-20 inches at the center (fits most, up to 5’10”, 200 lbs)
  • X-Long wraps are 18 ft in length and 19- 20 inches at the center (best for those over 5’10” and 200 lbs)
  • Petite is 14 ft in length and 19-20 inches at the center (best for adults smaller than 5’3″ and 110 lbs)

The fabric has a 2 way stretch instead of the usual 4 way stretch of a stretchy wrap. It is practically non-absorbent so it won’t weigh you down if it gets wet and dry very fast!

Our Experience:

I asked to review the Key Lime wrap in One Size. I love all of the bright, amazing colors that are available and I want one of each! In Arizona, where we live, the temps have already passed 100 degrees. In fact it is 103 right this moment! This makes babywearing quite a challenge. The Water Wrap Carrier has been a lifesaver the past couple weeks. I literally have been wearing it everywhere I go. Doctor appointments, grocery shopping and even in the shower!

The fabric is soft and shiny much like a bathing suit, it is also mesh-like allowing it to breath and preventing overheating. It is easy to clean too! Just wash in the washing machine and tumble dry or hang dry. Hanging to dry only takes an hour in the dry AZ air.

I love the size of it. It isn’t as long as my Moby which makes it much easier to wrap! It is also less wide which makes it less fabric to work with and much lighter in weight! Below is a quick video on how to wrap it for water  use. There are other wraps that can be used for day to day babywearing but this is the only one recommended for use in the water. Of course you are the parent and it is up to you how use your wrap.

Usually this is where I would add in anything I might change or add to a product but I honestly don’t see anything! The length is great for me as well as the width, the fabric is lightweight and breathable, it is easy to wrap once you get the process down. Being able to wear it in the water is a fantastic added bonus! And the price is even better! $36.49-$44.99 depending on the size (Caribbean Blue is slightly higher)

I love wearing my baby but it does get pretty hot with my wrap in the summer and it is not comfortable when wet.

This looks awesome! My oldest loves the water so this would make it easy for me to carry my little guy and chase my oldest in and out of the water!

I love that this can be worn straight into the water, but doesn’t NEED to be. It can just be a breathable lightweight baby carrier for those hot summer days!

I’m a mother of four kids, ages 3, 2, and 6 months b/g twins. I thought that I would have to sit out all of our pool time during our family vacation this summer (while daddy went in with one toddler at a time) but thanks to Diane’s brilliant idea I may not have to. We may all be able to venture in at the same time provided that my husband agrees to wear one of these wraps.

I like that these don’t even need to be for water. I think it would be great to have this for everyday use when it’s too hot outside for a regular wrap.
