Undercover Mama is a strapless tank top that connects to any nursing bra, making it any shirt a Nursing Shirt . Each top comes with 2 ways to attach it to your nursing bra. One is a small rubber band type attachment and the other is a metal hook.

Final

Designed by a mom who wanted to keep her skin “under cover”, the Undercover Mama shirts are soft and stretchy made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex. It is recommended that you wash them in cold water and lay flat to dry. They also recommend that you purchase a size smaller than your normal tee shirt size. If you are in between sizes they recommend going with the smaller size. Ordering a smaller size always feels good!

Wearing the Undercover Mama is simple! You wear it as an under shirt that keeps your belly, back and sides covered so you can lift your regular every day shirt up and nurse discreetly. When you first put the Undercover Mama on, you attach it with your preferred clip or band. Then when you nurse you only need to unclasp your nursing bra! The top shirt will cover the top of your breast and the Undercover Mama covers your belly. Since you are nursing, your baby will cover the front of your breast!

Wearing a huge poncho and constantly checking under it to make sure baby is breathing, not sweating or fighting with baby to keep it on only draws more attention to the fact that you are nursing. This could make mom even more uncomfortable with nursing around people. Undercover Mama lets new moms nurse with the confidence that passers by most likely have no idea what she is doing! If they do know what she is doing it is only because they have been there themselves!

What do I think?

It is very easy to put this shirt on and attach it and even easier to nurse in it! I love how soft the fabric is. The fit is snug and is supposed to be. This keeps the bottom from rolling up on you. I did experience a little rolling but the length of the shirt makes it not even an issue. I tried it out with both types of attachment. I think I prefer the metal clip. Although I didn’t experience any thing coming off, I did fear that the rubber band would slip off when unclasped from my bra.

I love the color choices that are available. I would have one in every color if my budget allowed it. This is something I would recommend for a nursing mom that uses a nursing bra often. I only have a couple of nursing bras that would attach at the clasp. Yes, you can use the metal hook to just attach the shirt to your bra strap. That is great if you are not nursing anymore. If you are nursing you would have to take that hook off and then adjust your bra separately. It isn’t extremely inconvenient but any added step when your baby is hungry is no fun. If you have a patient baby and don’t mind it then this would work with any bra!

I have one of these and, like you, would love to have one in each colour. I like how they seem slimming without being uncomfortable. They are a good length, soft and look sharp! I haven’t found mine to roll up except when I wore it with a pair of yoga pants that were having their own rolling problems 😦

I am an exclusive pumper so I don’t breastfeed in public but I do need to pump in public places and I think it would be extremely helpful for that.

I have been DYING to try one of these! I always use a regular nursing tank, but it would be nice to get the old underwire out every once in awhile wirhough having to flash my pale flabby belly to the whole room. Not to mention, I get cold easily so an extra layer is always nice. Thanks for your review!

I have a couple of these. I love how long they are! I was worried that the little plastic loops would break, but no problems so far (6 months).

I have this in white. For the most part I really like it but I find that all my nursing bras make this tank hand down a little lower than I would like. Not really sure how this can be remedied. I wish I could have a bit more coverage.
