Blissful Bump Sponsor Spotlight Review: Everly Grey

November 2, 2012

As we prepare for our big event we will begin sharing some of the amazing sponsors who are generously providing prizes for the Blissful Bump Giveaway Bash! This spotlight review is to share our experience with

Everly Grey was created in 2009 out of a deep love and appreciation for fashion – in particular, the maternity genre.  Sensing a void in the market of sophisticated prints and a contemporary aesthetic featuring an equally attractive price point for busy moms-to-be, Everly Grey has become the hot, up & coming maternity label that includes a wide array of easy-to-wear fabrics and styles of tops, dresses, skirts and pants.

The look of Everly Grey is based on weaving feminine and modern prints with a tranquil ease in styling that makes the brand relatable to all women.  With a growing set of collections, Everly Grey’s designs empower pregnant women with style and glamour.

The folks at Everly Grey are very generous! They sent me 2 items to review for you! The first is the Kaitlyn Wrap Dress. I got the one in leopard print but there is also a solid plum color available AND it is on sale right now for only $34.75 (+2.50 for leopard) regularly $67! This is a full wrap dress which can be tied in the front or in the back. Personally I prefer to tie it on the side. It does fully wrap around the body and the tie creates a very feminine line as an empire waist. The fabric is a polyester/spandex jersey which makes it machine washable! (The solid color is a slightly different blend which requires hand wash or dry clean) This is very comfortable! Probably the most comfortable piece of maternity clothing I have worn in all 3 pregnancies! I love how the stretch fits and it is super soft and smooth!  The drawback to the smoothness is that the tie became loose at times but it never came fully untied. I did also manage to snag it on some velcro while putting away diapers. The velcro very minimally damaged the fabric but was only noticeable by me because I knew it was there.

The other item I got to review is the Kendall Fall Top. I chose the silver color but it is also available in black. I love this top! I love it so much that it was my chosen top for my maternity photos! I really like tops that show off the curve of my pregnant belly, this means they must be slightly snug below the belly. This top is gathered at the sides creating a fabulous ruching that highlights the curves! The Kendall Fall Top is a polyester/rayon/spandex blend that does require hand washing. The only issue I had with this top is that I really could have used some elastic in the seam between the belly panel and the draped top half. I had to be careful not to pop a stitch when pulling the top over my breasts. Once it was on I felt gorgeous!

Both of the garments I reviewed are very high quality. Everything from the fabric to the stitching is very well made. I highly recommend Everly Grey for every expecting mom!

Love the shot where your back is to the wall and the brick pillars are in the back. Creative.
That shirt is so flattering on you and something I could see myself in not only for the color but also the style. Don’t tell my husband that (smile).

Those pictures are beautiful.. they speak a thousand words. Having a boyfriend that is very artistic, he would say that the lighting is perfect and the angles are great! 😉

Wish I was this fashionable when I was pregnant…It is good that there are now more available dresses and clothing for expecting moms unlike the conventional ones before. The photos are beautiful also! Thanks for sharing!
